Selection

We seek constructive developments with a clearly dated, attributable source and a verifiable action. A promise, pilot or prediction is labelled as such. Selection is editorial; it is not a measured global popularity ranking. Serious surrounding harms are not erased to make a story feel cheerful.

Verification and attribution

Each summary links to its underlying report. Primary organizations are identified as interested sources when they describe their own work. Significant numbers, dates and impacts need a check against the linked material. Where independent reporting is available, it should be added. AI may assist with drafting, but a human editor must review factual claims before publication.

Original reporting

The current edition contains curated summaries, not on-the-ground original reporting. Interviews and eyewitness claims will only appear when actually conducted and documented.

Corrections and submissions

Keep the original URL and date, record substantive fixes in the corrections log, and update a story when evidence changes. To suggest a story through the site contact channel, include headline, event and report dates, location, original URL, verified action, uncertainty and why it matters. Submission does not guarantee publication.

Privacy and accessibility

Seek consent before featuring a personal story. Provide readable text, keyboard navigation and descriptions for meaningful images. Avoid unnecessary tracking or forced sign-ups.
